I did not realize I had already signed this book last winter (2007). My grandmother was cousin of Travis Fain, not his sister. Louise

My grandmother was a sister of Travis Fain. I would appreciate the person who set up this guest book contacting me via my email address. I have collected Fain family information that might be of interest. Louise Greene Henry

I am so saddened to learn that my dear neighbor passed away this Monday. I have lived next door to Mr. Fain for 16 years. He was always kind and friendly to me and I will miss him dearly. Please contact me if I can help in any way. Kindess Regards, Gina Ussery

I am a distant cousin of Travis Fain. My grandmother was Leila Fain Greene, her father was Peyton Alvin Fain. I think Leila and Travis' father were first cousins. I have put together some Fain genealogy back to the early 1700s if any of the family is interested. Our condolences to the family. I wish I had visited Travis when at Mt Gilead Methodist church last year. Louise

What a special gentleman, our "Mr. Fain"! We will always remember his quiet smile and glib humor. His quiet prescence filled a room with kindness and sincerity. It always felt good to be around him. How nice that his qualities continue through his son, John and his grandchildren, Travis and Lara. I know you will miss him deeply. Let the memories fill the hole in your heart and have peace in his healing with our Lord and Saviour. Our sympathy and love to all of your family at this time. He will always hold a special place in everyone's heart.
