MOORE, William Ernest William Ernest Moore, Jr., age 73, of Tucker, GA passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016. He is survived by his companion of thirty years, Elisa Ledbetter, Tucker, GA. Mr. Moore was born September 11, 1942 in Atlanta, GA. He was a 1960 graduate of Grady High School in Atlanta, GA and a graduate of Georgia Tech with an Electrical Engineering Degree. He was retired from Colonial Pipeline. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Atlanta, GA and a member of Mensa Society. A private memorial service will be held at his residence for friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Georgia Tech Institute of Technology of Atlanta, GA in memory of William "Bill" Moore. I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Elisa and all of Bill's friends and loved ones. I met Bill when I started 6th grade at Morningside and he was a close friend through Grady (fellow band member) and Ga Tech. We managed to stay in touch and exchanged Christmas Cards until a few years ago when my card was returned as undeliverable. Fond memories include Bill's Renault Dauphine which he had fitted with a Judson supercharger and real Mini Cooper. We will miss him.
