Memories and Condolences

Not sure what to say?

Sandy,
I worked with you at the Bank of Alex Brown a long time ago and I saw Freddy's name and then saw your name and put the two together. So sorry for your loss. I always remember you as such a sweet soft spoken beautiful lady and I remember Freddy always laughing and joking. It has been a long time since I have seen you but I just wanted to let you know how sorry I am for the loss of your dear husband. Danelle Wilber

Like Michael, Fred taught me how to fish on Coon Creek. To this day I can pull trout out of any river or creek while other unsuccessful anglers look on in disbelief. I think he unknowingly was a zen fishing master.

He always made time to help me sight in a new rifle scope or repair a broken fishing reel.

Whenever I think of Fred, I always see him leaning on his stack of firewood peering through his high-powered binoculars at all the wildlife on Big Hill.

My condolences to Sandy and the entire Hubbard family. Quite a man. Quite a neighbor.

After 30 years of being a next door neighbor to Fred and
Sandy, I remember Fred with a smile on his face and a friendly wave as I would pass by his home, him observing the wildlife and world around him. I miss him.

Dear Fred,
Thank you for your helping attitude toward me when I was just learning to fish Coon Creek...no weights and all slack line...there is something to be said for that in life as well as fishing. You're a good man.

We never had the chance to know Fred, but after taking care of his family members for years one thing is for sure, Fred was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. All the family and loved ones are in our thoughts and prayers.

I will always remember seeing Fred at the top of the Hill, leaning on the fence with a smile and a wave as I drove out of his Dad's Ranch.

I've lost my "King of the Hill" but I'll keep the memory forever.

Sending love to Aunt Sandra and all of you. I am glad we had a wonderful visit at Christmastime. We have many wonderful memories of the Hubbard Campouts and picnics together and of Fred's fun New Year's Eve parties. Dad loved going out and taking walks with Fred. He always answered the phone with a smile in his voice. I miss him dearly.

Charity, Pam, Sandra and the rest of the Hubbard family - Please know I send you my love and deepest condolences at the loss of your grandfather, father and husband. I do know this pain. Hugs all around. My prayer is that your grief be brief, yet complete, and your joy return quickly so that you may again experience happiness in your days more often than sadness.
