John V. "Jack" Lish
7/16/1923 - 2/27/2007
John V. "Jack" Lish, born on July 16, 1923 in Idaho, passed away at his home on February 27, 2007 in Roseville, Calif. at the age of 83.
A longtime Roseville resident, Jack was employed at Mather Air Force Base for 36 years and served several terms with the Placer County Planning Commission, as well as the Grand Jury. Following his retirement from Mather AFB, Jack worked as an instructor at Sierra College in the Automotive department.
Jack was married to Clara Lish for 47 years. He is also survived by his daughter, Julie Andersen, seven grandchildren, three great-grand- children, two sisters, Josepine Allen and Alice Para, three nieces, two nephews, and two stepchildren, Jeff Baum and Kathy Riolo.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home Chapel, 400 Douglas Blvd., Roseville, CA. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

Hi Julie and Family;
Remember me? I lived on Colnar St and went to school with you.
I was saddened to read about your dad's passing. He was a great teacher in auto mechanics and I learned a lot from him as he worked on various cars and equipment. He had a lot of patience and was very tolerant with me when I was a kid watching him at work and asking him a ton of questions. Please give your mom and family members our condolences.
