I send my thoughts and prayers to Rosanna in what must be a difficult time. Wally and I shared some real "battles" together through the years in our Teamsters Union work. Whether he was along side me at the bargaining table as a shop steward for his fellow mid-managers or on the other side of the table as a representative for management, one thing for sure was his knowledge, fairness and integrity.

I extend my sincerest condolences to Rosanna and the family. I remember meeting Cindy and Jess at the Corporation Yard in the City of San Bruno; a prouder father you will never meet. Wally loved his children and grandchildren very much. Go with God, Wally!

From brother John, who is very sad to have his little brother pass away. He was so much fun to be with, my wife and I loved him dearly. Roseanna, you were a fine, fine, trooper through all of this and we thank-you. All of you kids were so wonderful to your Dad, also. Wally will be greatly missed.
Love and prayers to all of you.

Wally was a man whose company I enjoyed being in. I enjoyed every minute I was in his presence. A nicer man never tread this earth.
Once when Wally found out that I didn't have a brother he said "Hell I'll be your brother", I looked at him expecting to see a smile but he was serious, that was just who he was. From then on in our house he was refered to as Brother Wally.
Wally was a good man in every sence of the word and I for one will miss him, we are all a little worse off by his passing.
