SCIPIO| Reynold Charles Stotler, 56, of Scipio, died Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Auburn Community Hospital with his family by his side.
Reynold was born in Auburn, the son of the late Hugh and Lois Rice Stotler. He was a mechanic genius that ran his own body shop called Stotler Used Auto since 1988. Reynold also put together agricultural bags for other farmers for more than 20 years. He enjoyed riding ATVs and especially being with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his soulmate Lona, of 30 years; daughter Michelle Stotler, of Scipio; two sons John and Patrick Stotler, of Scipio; two brothers, Ralph Stotler and his wife, Linda, of Maryland, Walter Stotler and his wife, Ellie, of Scipio; five sisters, Janet Bartholomew and her husband, Butch of Michigan, Cindy Scriben, of Michigan, Evelyn Boundy and her husband, Norm, of Pine City, Angela Breese and her husband, Art, of Auburn, Theresa Stotler, of Auburn; special mother Lona Birch, of Aurora; and eight grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Reynold was predeceased by a brother Harry Stotler, sister Katherine Myers, and a son Jeffery Stotler.
Friends are invited to call from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 7, at the First Presbyterian Church of Scipioville, Route 34, Poplar Ridge, with a funeral service to follow at noon at the church.
Brew Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Interment will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery, Ledyard. Contributions may be made to Southern Cayuga Instant Aid, PO Box 7, Poplar Ridge, NY, 13143 in memory of Reynold Charles Stotler.
