My heart goes out to the family.
I was lucky enough to have his love as a child. He was my second dad for as long as Shara and I have been friends, and that's 45 years.
I pray for comfort and healing for you all in the coming days.

Love, Shelby

I am so sorry for your loss of a man that I know you all loved. One of the things I remember about George was, it seemed he never met a stranger !! When I first started working with him he was a mess. He tried to keep me straight out there at Ft. Gordon. We had some great times out there . He was always straightening everyone out. lol I know he loved his family and sure didnt mind telling anyone !! Shara, he told me once that he wasnt surprised that you and I didnt kill each other because we were both hard headed !! lol But he said, she cant help it she takes after me !! Im glad you have alot of good memories and you will reflect on them in the days to come and it will bring laughter to your soul and thats what would make him happy, is to see all of happy !! Praying for the whole family during this time !! God Bless You All !!!

My prayers go out to the family. I am sorry for your loss. I did't know him, but I am a close friend of his sister Sharon. As we spoke yesterday she talked of the love she had for him and that he had always been her HERO. That is a wonderful bond. May God bless all of you in this sad time. God has got another angel now.
