Remembering the family on the anniversary of Preacher Bill's passing. Preacher Bill & Mrs. Fannie made such a profound impact on my life and eternity. I am so thankful for their ministry. "He is no fool that gives up what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose" One day I will see them again in Heaven. Thank you for loving me and teaching me to memorize and love God's word!

Fannie,Susan and Sharon,
Your loss is heaven's gain. I know you rejoice in knowing Bill is with his Lord. I remember when Bill use to come to Neuse Baptist Church and speak for preacher Carey. He was always a blessing to hear and to be around. One sermon that comes to me is "fret not", Great message. I still see him playing the " train and model-T racing on the harmonica back in the eighties when he was here. He has certainly left an impression on many people. May God continue to be with you and the whole family.

I just want to send my sympathy to Bro. Bill's family and also to Darlyin and Toby in the loss of their brother. I've known Bill since I was a teenager, grew up with him at Second Baptist Church in Augusta, Ga. He had some good influence on my life. Thankful that the Lord gave him so many years in the ministry. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Mrs. Reese, Sharon, Susan and Faith: Our prayers are with you during the homegoing of Bro. Reese. When I told my parents about his homegoing, they could hardly believe it. I asked my Dad what would he remember about Bro. Reese, and after thinking for a few moments, he said: "He was the man that I had the most fun with." Your family has been a part of our family for so many years. My, how we will miss him. Herman and Margie Mongin; Dr. and Mrs. Cecil Hodges, Savannah, Georgia

My husband and I got saved under Preacher Bill's ministry. I am grateful for all the things we learned about the Bible under his teachings. May the Lord give grace to his family in the days ahead.

Words fail to describe the spiritual blessings we received from Preacher Bill's Biblical messages coupled with his unique personality through his last years of ministry at the church as we drove from Greenville, SC. His words of wisdom and quotes are so many times called to our memory and are a constant encouragement and guide to us. We also continue to enjoy the CDs of the music and his preaching and look forward to attending the funeral on Thursday.
Our sincerest sympathy,

I will always cherish the memories of visiting with you... fishing, feeding the chickens, hunting, playing the banjo and listening to the history of our family that you often spoke of. The sound of your thundering voice from the pulpit still echoes in my mind as I'm sure it does in the heart’s of the countless people to whom you proclaimed the gospel. My sincere condolences to Aunt Fannie, Sharon, Susan, Faith and your families.
