Charles Figgins Obituary

Figgins, Charles David
86, passed away September 16, 2008. A devoted husband and father is survived by his loving wife and friend Edral Hardyman Figgins who were married on December 19, 1942. Charles and Edral have six children Bob, David, Steve, Derril, Debra Evans and Vickie Prater, who have given them thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Charles and Edral moved to Arizona in 1947 from Ripley, Ohio where they grew up. Charles had many hobbies from traveling, fishing, animals and he enjoyed cooking in his later years. Charles had chosen the profession of being a tank truck driver for over thirty years, which gave him the ability to be a great provider for his family. We will all miss his great wisdom, humor and calm demeanor for life and we thank him for an abundance of great memories. He will never be forgotten and he will always have a special place in the hearts of family and friends. Please join family & friends to celebrate his life on October 25, 2008 from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M - contact family at (602)757-3142

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Aunt Edral and all the family. Even though we did not get the chance to know uncle Charles as we should have I know I will have the memories of the times he visited grandpa and granny figgins (his dad and step mom) in Mt. Orab, Ohio I remember going past there on the school bus and seeing the RV in the drive and knowing Uncle Charles and Aunt Edral were in.
