Dennis Daly Obituary
Arizona. Dennis, recently retired from Arizona Public Service, was born in Phoenix Nov. 1, 1951 and grew up in Winslow, where he graduated from high school in 1969. Dennis was active in midget car racing with his sons Dean and Dale. His daughter Shelly recently made him a proud grandfather. Dennis was an active member of his church. While battling Multiple Sclerosis he raised his three children alone and was able to continue his education, graduating with honors from NAU in 1996. Survivors include his children, Shelly, Dale and Dean Daly, granddaughter Samaurra, mother, Ann Daly, siblings David, Amy Maloney, John (Brenda), Joe (Denise) and Kathleen. 8 nieces and nephews also survive him. His father, Glen Daly, grandparents Ellis and Anna Mae Sexton and Bob and Beulah Matthews preceded him in death. Services will be held Friday, Sept. 14, 2007 at 10:00 am at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3300 N. Navajo Blvd in Prescott Valley, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Arizona chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society or to the memorial fund at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.

I am really sorry to hear of Dennis passing away. I feel a loss. He was a wonderful friend back in high school. Him and Mike Cribbs always together. I'll never forget them. You all are in my thoughts. Treasure all your precious memories in your heart.

Our prayers are with the Daly family and children. Dennis was neighbor, classmate and friend to our family. He was one of the very first friends we met the summer we moved to Winslow.
