Dwayne Waldon Morgan

Dwayne Waldon Morgan, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2004 in Mesa, AZ. He was born to Ernest and May Morgan on October 22, 1925 in Portland, Indiana. He served in the US Navy during WWII and was employed in management at Dana Corp. in Fort Wayne, Indiana for 38 years. After retiring, he and his wife moved to Mesa, AZ and have lived here 18 years. His interests included his family, his church, golf, traveling, reading, playing table games, keeping his property attractive and in good repair, the AZ Diamondbacks and fellowship with his many friends. Dwayne had a strong Christian faith and was a devoted member of Mesa First Church of the Nazarene. In 1955, he married Jean Riedel, and they became the parents of Diane and David. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jean; daughter, Diane; son, David and his wife Teresa; grandchildren David, Jonathan and Elisabeth Shuck; step-grandchildren Tyler, Hannah and Noah Alt; brothers Gilbert and Paul; sisters Sylvia Walker and Erma Miller; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 6 at Mtn. View Mortuary 7900 E. Main St., Mesa. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Monday, June 7 at Mesa First Church of the Nazarene, 955 E. University Dr., Mesa.
