Inge Ellington Obituary
79, of Pinetop & Phoenix, AZ passed away on December 13, 2014, listening to Bach, surrounded by her family. Inge was born in Koln, Germany on April 1, 1935 first born daughter of Margarete and Oskar Baur. Inge came to the United States when she was 18, she lived in New York City and went to Nursing school in Newark, New Jersy. She moved to beautiful Arizona after receiving a job offer to be the nurse nanny for Bob Goldwaters children. During this time she met and married Robert Ellington, they raised their three children on Holly street in Phoenix, and later enjoyed retired life in Pinetop, AZ. Inge was a very creative woman and loved painting with water color, making flower arrangements, and drawing. During her retirement she made many friends in Pinetop who shared the love of sculpting and making pottery, this was a very happy time in her life. Inge loved animals, especially her Cattle dog Tuffie, who she loved walking in the woods and enjoying the peacefulness of Pinetop. Inge will be greatly missed by family and friends, her kind and feisty spirit endured even during her illness. The family would like to thank Clarebridge and Diamond Manor for the excellent care and compassion that they gave and showed our mom. Survivors include her husband Robert Ellington, children Toni Pakay, David Ellington, and William Ellington, 4 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Services will be held January 21, 2015, 1pm
at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona In leiu of flowers please send donations to
