Kenneth Borek Obituary

Kenneth Edward Borek, Ken Borek passed away January 12th, 2004. Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. Born in Hoquiam, WA on April 1, 1933 to Stan & Gen Borek. Master tennis player in High School and College. Ken grew up in Spokane, WA and raised his family in Tacoma, WA. He worked as a Banker and Real Estate Broker until his retirement when he moved on to his new love as a Master Wood Worker & Carver. He is survived by his wife of over 47 years, Maureen, children (grandchildren); Rick & Lynn Borek (Brandon & Bryan), Bob & Nora Borek (Ryan & Nicholas), Susan & Bruce Lange (Katherine, Ursila, & GG
Kavon), Randy & Jill Borek (Katherine & Colin), Roger & Angela Borek (Riely, Mackenzy, & Reece) and brother Darrel. Preceded in death by daughter Nancy & his cat "Indy". Ken Retired in 2000 - moved to Arizona where he spent his time enjoying life. A Funeral mass will be held Friday, January 16 at 11 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church. 1711 W. Bell Rd in Surprise. Camino del Sol Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

I am very sorry for your loss. He will be sorely missed by many people. He made such beautiful wood pieces for Randy, Jill, Katherine and Colin.
