Michael Ray Childs

Phoenix - Childs, Michael Ray. Passed away November 30th at the age of 51. Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Marie in 2017 and his younger brother Rob in 1998. He is survived by his beloved wife Karen, his father Mick, his twin brother Mark, and his sisters Kim and Richele. Mike was a graduate of Camelback High School and Arizona State University. He then went on to earn his Master's Degree in Zoology at Oklahoma State University. As a wildlife biologist, Mike was especially interested in the restoration of Arizona's native fish populations and the preservation of other endangered species. His fondest memories were of the times he spent camping and fishing with family and friends in the Arizona mountains. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Mike's favorite charity, The Wounded Warriors Project.
