Paula June (Wilson) Carder of Mesa, AZ went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 13th. She was born in Lodi, OH August 25th, 1941. She was preceded in death by her brother Lawrence Hugh Wilson in 1970, father Lawrence Holmes Wilson in 1980 and mother Ann Irene Wilson in 2002. Survivors include husband, Francis Wayne Carder, sons Donald (Sherilyn) of Mesa AZ, Michael of Lancaster CA, Lawrence (Becky) of Vancouver WA, Timothy (Mellisa) of Chandler AZ and Jonathan (Rene') of Mesa. Grandchildren Jeremy & Clarissa Carder (Donald), Stephen and Amanda Bullock (Michael), Jeremy, Michael, Jeffrey Alderson, Stacey and Allison Carder (Lawrence), Katelynn Carder, Kyle Crider and Dylan Phagan (Timothy) and Olivia and Madison Carder (Jonathan). Great grandchildren Hailey Carder (Jeremy C.), Brody and Ella Alderson (Jeremy A), Emma and Carson Alderson (Michael A). Sisters Carol Kretschmar of Bellefontaine OH, Betty (Bob) Talyor of New Port Richey, FL, Brother Philip (Sharon) Wilson of LaGrange OH, sister-in-law Linda (Joe) Caputo of Rivesville, WV. She was a member of Sun Valley Community Church of Mesa, AZ. She also has attended First Baptist Church of Tempe, Faith Community Church of Chandler. She first accepted Christ as her savior at First Baptist Church of LaGrange, OH. Her hobbies are rubber-stamping, cross stich, yard sales, reading and spending time with family and friends. She spent her growing up years in LaGrange, OH, and then she married Francis Wayne Carder August 30, 1958. They raised 5 sons, plus helped take care of three girls, which one was their granddaughter Stacey, a friend's daughter, Trisha Mekoleske and Jeanette Forsythe. She has been a stay at home mom, worked in sales at JC Penney's in Torrance, CA. Helped start a pre-school with several ladies in LaGrange, OH. She worked the front desk at Elyria Memorial Hospital emergency room, and orthopedic clinic and at Fairmont General Hospital in Fairmont, WV as an office worker. She also was a secretary at the medical legal desk at Desert Samaritan hospital in Mesa, AZ, a church secretary for Central Baptist/Faith Community church and a secretary for the law offices of Yarbrough, Wright, Harowitz and Dunn. She worked in medical records for Chandler Regional Hospital, and Prior Authorization at Spectra Insurance, the front desk of Sun Lakes Urgent Care and Doctor's office, Walgreens Healthcare Plus in Order Entry, and finally at East Valley Regional Cancer Center where this was one of her favorite jobs. She was an AWANA leader for 20 years, President of the Lady's Mission Circle, Sunday school teacher, and on many boards for different churches she attended and a choir member.
