Robert Shuman Obituary
67, of Nutrioso, AZ, lost his battle with leukemia on April 1. He was born on June 4, 1948. He is survived by his wife, Eileen, daughter, Kyle Sheehan (Alan), a sister and 2 brothers. He was preceded by his son, Paul A. Shuman. Robert graduated from the U. of Maine, spent 22 years as an Air Force officer and 10 years at Boeing in Mesa, then retired to Arizona's White Mountains. Robert was a hard working and generous man and, as a friend said, "One of the good guys." A Celebration of Life party will be held in Alpine on June 2. Memorial gifts can be made to the Springerville Heritage Center / Save Our School, c/o White Mountain Historical Society, PO Box 12, Springerville, AZ 85938 or to Arizona PBS, ASU, 555 N. Central Ave, Suite 500, Phoenix, 85004.
