Gregory Augenstein Obituary

Paul Gregory Paul Augenstein of Flagstaff passed away at his home surrounded by his family on June 20, 2023. Greg was born in Flagstaff on August 25, 1960 to Thomas and Robin (LaRue) Augenstein.

Greg was preceded in death by his father Thomas Carl Augenstein, step-father Al Starr and great-grandson Christopher William Bercu III.

Greg is survived by his mother Robin Starr, step-mother Ellen Augenstein, wife Daphne Augenstein, son Clif (Lindsey) Augenstein, daughter Jamie (James) Tafoya, sister Tammy (Robbie) Barnett, brother Ken Augenstein, grand-daughters Arianna Humphrey and Ella Augenstein, grand-sons Josiah Humphrey and Wyatt Augenstein and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Greg was an avid hunter, fisherman, and an expert craftsman. He spent his whole life in Flagstaff and became a very well-known and respected contractor. He will be most remembered for his smile, big heart, lust for life, and willingness to drop everything to help a friend in need.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elks Lodge in Flagstaff on July 30th at 11:00am.
