Charles Claus Obituary

Charles R. Claus (Bob) Sept. 13, 1930 Dec. 13, 2005 Bob was born in Highland Park, MI. He moved to California in 1960 and spent most of his life in Visalia. He was the Visalia distributor for the Fresno Bee. He was a proud member of the Visalia Mighty Oaks Chorus and a member of the Visalia Moose Lodge. He had recently moved to Bakersfield to be closer to family. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Jim and Don and his beloved granddaughter, Alana Jo Claus Rosillo. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Donna; his children, Lynda and Jim Grant, Rick and Jennie Claus; his grandchildren, Allyson and Jeff Rainey, Michelle and Mike Sullivan, John and Jamie Curran, J Rosillo, Jeremy and Danny Eickenhorst, Trina and Corey Turnbaugh, 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2005, at 2:00 p.m., at Millers Memorial Chapel, at 1120 W. Goshen, Visalia. Legacy.com

I best remember Bob taking my money and letting the boys win (some) at cards while anchored at the lake during Father's Day. A Gentleman and our loss.
