Martin - I remember your Mom's hospitality when you invited all the Newmans over for a get-together. She was so sweet and so devoted to her faith. The house was always decorated with religious art or statues of our Blessed Mother. Our prayers are with you and your family as you struggle with your loss. She's in the arms of Christ and I hope that gives you comfort!!

I came to know Lupe and the rest of the Perez family through my sister-in-law Rachelle and have to say that she was truly an amazing lady. Since the first time we met, Lupe welcomed us in and treated us like part of her family. She exemplified how a true woman of faith lives her life. When my son was going through some troublng times, Lupe kept constant vigil and prayed a rosary for him daily with unwaivering faith. When I think of prayer warriors, I will think of Lupe. And although it saddens me that she is gone, I have no doubt that she has gone to a better place and is rejoicing with the Lord. I just want to say thank you to Lupe for touching my life and pray that the rest of the family find solace in knowing that when God welcomed her home with open arms He said, "Job well done!"

I am sorry for your loss. It was such a joy working with you guys and calling the house and getting Lupe on the other end of the line. For just a moment I could forget I was at work and get into a conversation with her. I loved seeing her at the KCBEX BBQ's. She is a lady that I am going to miss.
