Michael was born to Wirt and Onee Elkins. He attended Beardsley Elementary and North High School. He worked for Midway Trailer Co. and Ken Small Oilfield Construction.
Mike is survived by his sisters Bobbie Seelinger and Janiece Houston, brother Dennis Elkins, his lifelong companion Carol Cottrill and son Bobby Cottrill, daughters Shari Purser and Julie Beabout, niece Kelly Andree and grandchildren Casey and Stormy Strebeck and Brandon Beabout.
