Our loving mother passed away after a long battle with diabetes. She was a very special person with a heart of gold. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was predeceased by her son, Jesus Juarez and granddaughter, Amanda Floratos.
Her presence was a gift to us, unique and one of a kind.
She is survived by three daughters; three sons; two sisters; one brother; two daughters-in-law; two sons-in-law; and numerous nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
At this time I would like to give special thanks to Dr. Lee for his care, kindness and thought-fulness; my Aunt Dellie Melendez for always being there for our mother, the staff at Mercy Skills Facilities, the staff at Emmanuel Convalescent San Joaquin, Hall Ambulance and the special friendships she made at Gambro during her dialysis treatments. If I forgot anyone, please forgive me, but you know who you are and I say thank you and God bless you for all you did to keep our mother comfortable during her last days.
In addition, I would also like to share a poem my brother Sonny wrote the night before our mother died:
I went to see my Mom at the hospital.
I hate seeing her so ill.
But, I guess its not up to us
It is Gods will.
Why does she have to suffer so much?
Why is she in so much pain?
Only the Lord can answer these questions,
Because, I know shes not to blame.
You see, she was not only our Mother
But our Father too.
In our eyes she was the best.
So, Lord I pray take her pain.
And please give eternal rest.
I know shell go to Heaven
Because her heart is free of sin
And, Mom if He takes you tonight,
We will keep you in our hearts until we meet
again.
We love you.
At her request, there will be no services. We ask that you keep her in your prayers and her memory in your hearts.
