Teresa Ann Skinner, age 82, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023. Teresa was born January 20, 1941, the oldest daughter of Paul and Raymoth Garretson.
Teresa met the love of her life Daniel Skinner at the age of 15 and they married 3 years later following a long distance romance while he was serving overseas in the Air Force. She spent the next 63 years by Danny's side as his loving wife and best friend. Teresa and Danny had two daughters, Tori and Melissa, who brought her immense joy and blessed her with her beloved grandchildren, Gabriella, Caroline, Oliver and Elliott. She was blessed with abundant creativity and spent many years sharing that gift by teaching oil painting and leaving many with her beautiful artwork. She had a brilliant gift of interior design; decorating her home to perfection was one of her greatest joys. Her truest passion was spoiling her grandchildren and in later years bragging about their accomplishments. She will be missed by her family, friends and all that knew and loved her, but most of all by her beloved Danny.
She is survived by her husband Dan, daughters Tori (Lupe) and Melissa, grandchildren Gabriella and Caroline (Tori/Lupe), Oliver and Elliott (Melissa), siblings Sue (Kenny), John and Bill (Bryanne), sister-in-law Lyn, brother-in-law Lee (Grace), nieces and nephews Kerin, Kevin, and Shelly (Sue), Nick (Lyn), Carrie and Matthew (Lee), and Natalie, Amy, and Paul (Bill).
No services will be held per Teresa's request.

Teresa, a lovely human. She loved her husband and girls. Met her at the Mize Gallery of Fine Art. Certain she is an Angel in heaven. Outstanding person & friend.

Sending so much love your way. Teresa was so supportive of our family and it felt like she was one of our biggest cheerleaders! I never got to meet her in person, but felt like I knew her through all of her loving messages and interactions over the years. I feel grateful and so blessed to have had her love and support and will miss her greatly.

So sorry to hear the passing of Teresa! She was our wonderful neighbor on Cornell St. She painted a cute caricature of me when I was a child on a plate that I still have ! My condolences to all! Corinne Ortiz Monsibais
