What a great man with a wonderful family!! I baby sat his kids back in 1966-67 and the whole family was special. His son Peter was a good friend of my brother Eric.

Dolores dear,
Tony's sudden demise shocked all of us out here who hadn't known of the heart attack.
My head is flooded with early memories of us all at the Beverly Hills Democratic Club, and so very much more. I never pass Roxbury on Olympic that I don't cast an eye over to your first apartment over the garage where we gathered so happily and so often.
I am sooooo sorry for your enormous loss. Tony was unique in his view of political office, straight, smart, honest, committed, a serious contrast to today's
Washington, to be sure. I remember when he partnered with Zad Leavy for a while, then decided politics was his game, not straight law.
Don't want to ramble, but send you and all your dear family my sincerest condolences from a heavy heart.
Big warm hugs, dodi (and murray, whose memory is sadly disappearing from him due to Alzheimers)

Dearest Beilenson family: I am so sorry for your loss and the loss to the world of the wonderful man, Tony. He was an idol of mine, a mentor, and a brilliant, caring person. The world needs more Tony Beilensons, and I have missed seeing him for a long time, and even more now. With much love and big hugs, vicki

Dear Dolores, Peter and Family
Just saw surprising and sorrowful news.
Tony was exceptional in so many ways especially in the world of politics. I can't recall at time when we did not agree. His passion for change across the entire spectrum of life - people, animals, earth and his commitment were uniquely defining. His self-deprecation, doubting anguish and Victorian man of letters persona were only dimensions of his wonderfully complicated self. I will miss him greatly and much appreciate that we were connected for nearly 30 years. He was exceptional.
With sympathy,
Michael
