On March 20, 2016, Bernard Francis Bennett, of Parkton, beloved husband of the late Marie Bennett; devoted father of Dawn Brady and the late Renee Shaw; dear brother of Ceceilia Carey and her husband Josh, Barbara Budka and her husband John, and Joan Cohey; loving grandfather of Ryan Donnelly and his wife Jessica, Samantha Tyler and her husband Toby, and Vanessa Panas; cherished great grandfather of Irelynn and Benjamin Donnelly, James and Landon Tyler; lovingly cared for by John and Valerie Phillips. Family and friends will honor Bernie's life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services - Monkton, 16924 York Rd.(York & Monkton Rds. - Hereford), Monkton on Tuesday (TODAY), March 22, 2016, . A funeral service will be held 10 AM Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Our Lady of Grace Church. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bernie's name may be made to Animal Rescue, Inc. 2 Heritage Farm Drive, New Freedom, PA 17349 or Gilchrist Hospice Center, 11311 McCormick Road, Hunt Valley, Maryland 21031.
