Funeral services are private. Contributions in his memory may be sent to Baltimore Choral Society, 1316 Park Avenue, Baltimore, MD, 21217. Visiting hours for family and friends will be on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM at 112 Hawthorn Road, Baltimore, MD, 21210. Arrangements by SOL LEVINSON & BROS., INC.

Peter sang with us in the Bach Concert Series choir for many years. I'll miss Peter for his irreverant sense of humor and musical ability, and his willingness to help the choir. Even after he left our choir, he would gladly help out, for example, volunteering to help with our annual fundraising dinner or sing with us at Artscape. He made people smile with his colorful ties. I"ll miss his charm and wit, and I'm glad to have known him

Peter's death is a shocking and tragic loss. Those of us who knew him from BTEC, the Baltimore Suzuki program, will remember him for his passionate dedication to making music available to children in Baltimore City. Serving on BTEC's board with him was a privilege. My condolences to his partner, his daughter, and all of the members of his family. May you find comfort in each other and in your memories.

I was so lucky to have known Peter at work, and to have seen him sing with his choral group. To meet him even once was to have a lasting sense of what a deeply kind, good, joy-filled person he was. We are all trying to express how stunned and saddened we are, but it doesn't seem possible. Peter will always, always be remembered by those who knew him. I hope the memory of his life, so beautifully lived, will somehow lift up and heal those who loved him most and knew him best, and whom he loved so dearly. All my sympathy to his daughter, his partner, and all of his family and dearest friends.

To meet Peter just once would have given anyone a lasting sense of his deeply kind and joyful nature. I was very lucky to have known him, and I will never forget him. My condolences. I met Peter only a couple of times, but that's all it takes to like him and be affected by this terrible event.He visited us here at the Audiology and Speech Center at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center the week before it happened, and I was very excited that he was interested in joining us and that the very lonely days of being the only "bird guy" here might have been be over.
I wish the best for his family in this very hard time!

I have had the pleasure to work with Peter at Univ. Maryland Baltimore thorough his tenure here. We had adjacent offices, and worked closely on some projects. He was a wonderful colleague, generous with his time and intellect, and with his good humor. I miss him dearly.

I loved Peter dearly, as I know you did too. I considered him one of my closest friends, and will miss him forever. I am just so sad. My love to him, and his "sweetie", Susie, and daughter, Niko, and anyone else who knew him. Our lives will not be the same without him.

I had the pleasure of working with Peter for about 2 years. His incredible wit, compassion, smiling face, and infectious laugh will never be forgotten (not to mention his interesting and unique ties!). I think back to conversations with Peter and just smile in between the sorrow. It is a very sad time for all of his clinicaltrials.gov family.
