Shirley Shahan Obituary

FREDERICA - Shirley M. Shahan passed away Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017 at Milford Memorial Hospital.
Shirley was born in Milford the daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Brown) Ingram. She was a homemaker. Shirley was a stay at home Mom, and enjoyed sewing, baking, painting, canning and doing the odd jobs around the house for her family while her husband Paul was at work. She loved geography, traveling and watching golf on television in her later years. Most important to her was her family for she loved to dote on her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren every chance she could. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Shahan, Jr. in 1997; her daughter, Deborah King; and two brothers, Charles and Bill Ingram.
She is survived by her son, Clint Shahan and his wife Terry; and her daughter, Joann Kielbasa and her husband Ed; a sister, Alice Emory; and a brother, Donnie Ingram and his wife Judy; seven grandchildren, Michael, Casey, Stephenie, Kimberly, Heather, Dina and David; and seven great-grandchildren.
A viewing was held from 12 to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017, at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where a funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Burial was in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Bay Road, Frederica.
