TO GOD BE THE GLORY

Have you stood out in the moonlight,
gazing at the stars above?
Has a soft breeze seemed to whisper,
I surround you with my love.

You need never fear the darkness
for you bear his light within,
Like a flame forever burning
since you gave your heart to Him.

To God be the glory,
open up your heart and see.
There will be no tears in heaven,
His sacrifice has set you free.

In the sunlight He will greet you
and bring glory to your day.
Through every trial, he will lead you
so you will never lose your way.

God will make his journey with you,
being ever at your side.
He will be your Lord and Saviour,
Father, Son and Spirit Guide.

The Lord will light your life with laughter.
He will dry up all your tears.
He will share life's heavy burdens
and relieve you of your fears.

And your life will be a blessing;
a testament for all to see.
He is faithful in his promise:
a crown of stars eternally.

To God be the glory,
open up your heart and see.
There will be no tears in heaven,
His sacrifice has set you free.

What a great loss to the human race. All of you in the Lawrence family were always so special to me. It has been so many years but true friends stay friends forever. Paul was so good to me and gave me some great opportunities to better myself in my career as well as just being a great friend who was fun and honest. As with most people Paul would give the you a nick name and mine was "crybaby". He was about as "down to earth" as anyone I've ever known. All of you will be in my prayers. Love always, Chris

I remeber him being in many of my classes at South Park. For awhile Andy hung out with a few other classmates and they sometimes wore the black leather jackets. When I watched Grease and the T-Birds, I often thought of these guys. Today as I read the many thoughts I see a very kind man who loved his family so. My husband and I both are from the class of '66. Our prayers are with you . Eddy Joe and Beverly (Morgan) Gray

This is from the girls at PECU. I will always remember Paul he wanted us to update the handicap sign it took too long so he bought it and made sure we had the parking lot painted with the handicap sign on the ground. But he had great intentions when he asked about it and he had a good heart and was always thinking about others. Our prayers and thoughts are with you Ms. Ann and the family.

Dear Daddy, I hope you are smiling down at me and saying hey Chub I am doing well, I wish there was a sign so I would know you are safe. There hasn't been a minute that has gone by that my heart is not aching to hug you. I wish I could go to sleep and not wake up for one day so I can see you one more time. I have been writing your eulogy for 3 days and I know you are standing behind me with your hands on my shoulders giving me the strength to write the perfect words for you, all I ask is you give me that same strength to read it. I am so grateful that God put you in our lives when he did and I know that all the wisdom and strength you taught me I will carry forever. I miss you so much and wonder what I will do with myself without you but knowing you I am sure you will give me the coutage to carry on and take care of mom. I love you, I love you more! Your baby girl, Chub (Stephany)

"There is no way to prepare for the loss of a loved one. No matter what the circumstances are. You pray each day, for God to guide you through and still, there is 'pain' and 'sorrow'. But, just as there are tears, he left so much joy, that the memories will always bring a smile, to those who knew him. Andy, was a wonderful man. He always reached out to help anyone that needed and went out of his way, in doing so. He had tremendous love for his family and will truly be missed by all. I'm sure as he entered Heaven, he was welcomed with open arms, by those who have gone before him." He is not alone and will always be in our hearts. always, Trish aka 'Trix'

Andy was one of those friends you make in life where time away did not matter. I luckly found him as a friend at school; then we lost touch for many years; then reunited years later and it was like we had not missed beat in our friendship. I remember the "days", the Coffee Shop, the Circle, 11th Street, Sheltons Drive Inn, & street racing. Andy you always made it much more interesting. Rest Well, my friend. My prayers for your family.
