I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Coach Bullard. Like many in Buna I will remember his History trivia games that were intertwined with little known country music lyrics or recent sporting stats. I got my love of history from his class. He was a great teacher and a great man. The world has lost an awesome individual.

Martha, I don'tknow if you remember me but my husband, Don, and Ted coached together when y'all lived in Bellville. We became very good friends and I have thought about all of you on so many occasions during the last 30 years or so. I was so sorry to hear about Ted. He was such a good guy and always so funny. I treasure the memories that we shared when y'all were in Bellville. May God grant you and your family comfort and strength during this most difficult time. Love and peace to all of you, Margie

Coach Bullard was my football coach at Diboll. I never understood what a fantastic coach and man he really was until I had kids of my own and started coaching them. He always had a kind word and a special humor that always made you feel good. The people of Buna were blessed to have a man like Coach Bullard to help raise their kids.

Knew Ted for many years. We competed against each other in track during high school. Both of us became coaches and I have visited many times with Ted over the years at various coaching clinics.I know he will be missed in Buna and Pittsburg. My condolences and prayers to his family.

I remember Coach Bullard as a teacher who made his subjects not only interesting but made them come alive. His dry sense of humor was refreshing and funny. I feel sorry for those who will not have the chance to have him as a teacher. My prayers are with his family.

Even though I never coached or played for Coach Bullard I consider him one of the finest individuals in our profession. He was a great coach and an even better person. The people of Buna were so lucky to have their boys coached by this great man.Sometimes in coaching we are judged by the number of wins and losses we accmulate during our career. But a better measure of success in my opinion is the number of people that you postiviely effect as a coach. In this case Ted Bullard would be considered on of the all time greats. Thanks Coach for having a positive impact on my life.

There was never a better history teacher! His class was my favorite, and I never wanted to miss a bit of his dry humor as he taught us history with storytelling. He was a great man, and he will be truly missed.
