Brian Johnson Obituary

A 35-year-old O’Fallon man died Wednesday when the raised dump trailer of his truck hit an overhead power line on a Macoupin County farm.

Brian E. Johnson, who worked for Beelman Trucking Co. in East St. Louis, was electrocuted while delivering cattle feed to a farm near Medora.

The dump trailer struck the 7,200-volt power line as Johnson was emptying the feed at about 6 p.m.

Kenna (Brandon, Kristopher, and Kennedy): You all have my heart felt sympathy. Brian was an amazing person. He is the epitome of a faithful, devoted and committed father. I grew up knowing Brian as the neighbor across the street; although, as the years went on I came to think of him as brother, Wanda a sister, and Linda a godmother. I looked you today, I saw a wonderful person who truly has a relationship with the Lord, such strength and appearance of faith. Through God all things are possible. You are so blessed with three wonderful children. I will continue to keep you, your children and the rest of the Johnson family in my prayers. To, Brian until I see you again in the Kingdom of God, my brother. As you called me, “Jenny Jen”

Dear Keena, though I never met you I heard alot about you from Brian. I was a Beelman driver and used to "roll" with him on the dirt jobs. I was new on the "dirt board" and didn't have a clue on what to do. Brian was the first person to show me the ropes, (even though it slowed him down and probably cost him a few loads). We stayed in touch for quite awhile even after I moved on. My father says " You judge a man by the company he keeps" from what I've read here I'm not the only one who KNOWS this world has lost a truly great man. Nelson Stout (bumper)

I remember Brian as funny & loving. When I met my children father and the rest of his friends Brian was one of them and I appriciate the time I did know him and did run into him every now and then. He was a good man and even a greater one now. Keena just know he will be watching over you and the children and always be in your heart and soul. So stay strong for yourself and the children.

To My Very Best Friend and Brother,

It seems just like yesterday that you and the fam where with us having fun and enjoying life with us in OH. You have been a part of my life for over 30 years. Words cannot express how much I am going to miss your physical presence. The laughing, joking and silly things we normally did that only we understood when we were together. I am comforted to know that this is not the end. Your spirit is and always will be part of me.

As I see the kids grow up, I am constantly reminded how well a father and mother you and Keena have been and will continue to be. I am truly blessed to have been a part of your life for over 30 years. I have so many great memories that I will cherish and never forget. Until we meet again my brother in our mansion's in heaven. Love you (B-Daddy) and we will definitely miss you.

It is truly a complete tragedy to lose someone as kind, sweet, caring and gentle as Brian.

Keena,

As your Best-Friend, you know I will continue to be here as a shoulder to lean on during this difficult time. I don’t have all the answers, but with the Lords help we can gain a better understanding and a Peace-of-Mind.

You were brought into Brian’s life for a purpose… and you know what that purpose was. So be comforted in the fact that you did your job. You introduced Brian to the Lord and you were a loving wife to a loving husband.

You and the kids filled his life with joy!!!!

Love ya Girl….

It will be the little things
that you will remember,
the quiet moments,
the smiles, the laughter.
And although it may seem
hard right now,
it will be the memories
of these little things
that help to push
away the pain
and bring the smiles
back again.

With Loving Memories

To my dearest cousin, I was so deeply saddened to hear of the loss of BJ. Although I have never met BJ personally, he was always a friendly voice that I've come to know over the years with your marriage to your husband. The voice that I have come to recognize has been silenced. That voice will be truly missed. My condolences to the wife, children & mother of BJ.

To the family of Brian “BJ” Johnson:

“I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven passed away…
I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem
Now the dwelling of God is with men, and He will live with them.
He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more
death, mourning, crying, pain…”

The word of God has spoken and we say “Amen!”
No more crying, no more pain…
God has promised
Brian “BJ” Johnson
has received that promise
With open arms and is now enjoying
His “New Heaven, New Earth,”

We know that any Word of God does not return to Him without fulfillment. We know as well that God speaks to you and holds you tenderly in His hands.
Our prayers are with you; our door is open to you,
our hearts embrace you in this time of sorrow.
Please know always that the Lord is our
Shepherd…
And we shall not want as we rest in His green pastures of Peace.

Prayerfully,

Christine Lee, Jackee Curiton, Christopher Lee & Family,
Cynthia Lee & Family, Paulyana Martin & Jacqouin Martin
