Brittanie Schaefer

Brittanie Ann "Princess" Schaefer, 26, of Granite City, Ill., passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016, at her home. She fulfilled 26 years of life that she lived to the fullest, making wonderful memories for her family and friends to

cherish forever.

She had worked as a legal assistant with Crivello, Carlso, Picou, Andrekanic Attorneys at Law in Edwardsville, Ill. Brittanie was so very outgoing, independent, smart, witty, unselfish and always willing to help others. She loved life and enjoyed many activities and her days of playing many sports, bungee jumping, traveling, modeling and playing

gaming systems. She was a gym rat, sports fanatic and loved cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Annie Schaefer.

Surviving are her beloved parents, Leonard E. "Lennie" and Lynn, nee Osborn, Schaefer of Granite city, Ill.; her cherished brothers and sisters and their spouses, Shannon Donaldson of Pontoon Beach, Ill. Stephanie and Nathan Rodgers of Brighton, Ill., Thomas E. "Ted" and Gwen Donaldson of Farmington, N.M., Derrick and Julie Donaldson of East Alton, Ill., and Jo Schaefer of Granite City, Ill.; nieces and nephews, Makenzie, Daryl, Logan, Haley, Myleigh, Amaya, Diego, Zaric and Abbigail; grandparents, Leonard W. Schaefer of

Granite City, Ill., and Frank L. Osborn of Bunker, Mo.; many cousins, aunts, uncles, other extended family; and co-workers, and many friends.

Visitation: In celebration of her beautiful life, visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2016, at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road, Glen Carbon, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2016, at the chapel, with Reverend Terry Munn officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, Ill.
