Paul Moeller

Paul David Moeller, 67, of Sparta, Ill., born Feb. 16, 1943, in Chester, Ill., died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, at Randolph County Care Center, Sparta, Ill.

Mr. Moeller retired from World Color Press and Gilster Mary Lee. He was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Sparta, Ill., American Legion, and G.C.I.U. Paul was an Army Vietnam veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carol D. and Flora, nee Kipp, Moeller; an infant brother; mother and father-in-law; and a brother-in-law.

Surviving are his wife, Verna, nee Kessel, Moeller whom he married on Dec. 31, 1976, in Las Vegas, Nev.; daughters, Michele (Patrick) Studt of Belleville, Ill., and Pamela Williamson of Belleville, Ill.; his son, Paul (Kathleen) Moeller of Ames, Ill.; a brother, Daniel (Mary) Moeller of Chester, Ill.; sisters, Nora (Lawrence) Darnstaedt of Gorham, Ill., Lois Brunkhorst of San Antonio, Texas, Alice (Harvey) Hollmann of Gorham, Ill., Miriam (Bill) Bock of Frohna, Mo., and Doris (Wally) Decker of Chester, Ill.; and grandchildren, David Lakeman, Eddie Williamson, Ethan Moeller, LeeAnna Studt, Ciara Williamson, and Rachael Moeller.

Memorials may be given to the Randolph County Care Center. Friends may sign the guest book at www.mcdanielfh.com

Visitation: Friends may call from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, at Trinity United Presbyterian Church, Sparta, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, at Trinity United Presbyterian Church, with Pastor David Moody officiating. Interment will be at Caledonia Cemetery.
