Raymond Bradley
Raymond L. Bradley, 85, of Macomb, Ill., born May 27, 1918, in Bloomington, Ill., died at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2003.
Mr. Bradley was a 57-year member of the American Legion and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He served as a police officer for the city of Macomb, Ill., deputy sheriff of McDonough County, Ill., and retired after 17 years at Western Illinois University.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Merle L. and Edith, nee Doggett, Bradley; two brothers; and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Ivonne, nee Burton, Bradley, whom he married Feb. 21, 1942, in Bloomington, Ill.; two sons, Raymond Lynn (Luci) Bradley of Belleville, Ill., and Larry Edwin (Dianne) Bradley of Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter, Leota Marie (Eddie) Kasper of Lake Villa, Ill.; a sister, Hilda Teaney of Kearney, Mo.; three granddaughters; three great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; a great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to McDonough District Hospital's Hospice Program.

Visitation: Friends called from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2003, at Sargent-Worthington Funeral Home, Macomb, Ill.

Funeral: Graveside service were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2003, at Oakwood Cemetery, Macomb, Ill.
