Oscar Lee Obituary

Bud Lee passed away on October 27 in Bellingham at age 83. He was born to Oscar H. and Edna Lee in Mount Vernon, Washington. He was married to Phyllis Anderson from 1958 until her death in 2008. Bud married Janet Rutherford in 2011. Besides being the father of two daughters, Kriss and Kathy, he served as a pastor in Minnesota, Ohio and Washington. He was a competitive tennis player, avid gardener and friend to many. Bud is survived by his wife Jan, daughters Kriss, Kathy (John) Youngquist, grandchildren Erin and Barrett Fredrickson, Laurel and Rachel Youngquist, step-sons Gary and David Taccogna and step-daughter Julie Taccogna, sisters Loraine Bratset and Nellie (David) Smith, brothers Dick (Bev) and Daryl (Rita) Lee, many nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren. He moved to Ferndale in 1979 and was a pastor at Bakerview Baptist Church and later at Birchwood Presbyterian Church, 400 Meadowbrook Ct., Bellingham. The memorial service will be there on Saturday, October 31 at 2:30 pm. It is suggested that memorials be made to the BPC Memorial Fund.
