We were so saddened and shocked to hear of Rich's death. He will be greatly missed. He was such a friendly guy with a beautiful smile and he always had a hug for us. We were treated like family. We are so sorry for your loss and pray that our Heavenly Father and your memories of him will sustain you. It is so hard to lose a loved one. All of you are in our prayers - with sympathy and love, Stan and Bonnie Jensen

Richard was always so kind, even at Lowell Elementary where I first met him. We were on "Patrol" together and we thought we were so grown-up. We went to the same schools until we graduated in "63. My heart goes out to his family-he was a delightful person.

Sending my sympathy to all of the Belka family. I went to high school (yep, that was a long time ago) with Rich, BHS class of 64. Good memories from the "good old days". I know that he will truly be missed.

I was so sad to read of Mr Belka's passing. Mr B was my career councelor at BHS. He always had time for everyone, if you had a problem he was there to help you find a solution. He truly enriched my life. My condolences to his family.

To the entire Belka family, I send my condolences and love. Richard was my cousin, and I have fond memories of him that I will cherish forever. He was always a "bigger than life" presence in my young world and Christmas was always a special time to me because I knew I would see Richard, Gordy and Brian and their parents and spend quality time with them. It was such a wonderful time. I had a chance to speak to Richard several times while he was living in Arizona, and he appreciated the talks and special things mailed to him to let him know his "sister cousins" in Bellingham cared for him. I will miss him and the love he felt for people and animals very much. Take care during this time and hold one another.
