Wesley Green Obituary
The congregation listened to the hymns “How Great Thou Art” and “Wind Beneath My Wings.” Words of remembrance and a time of reflection were offered by Wesley’s family and friends. Interment followed in Grandview Cemetery where the Rev. Penny offered burial rites and committal prayers.
Serving as urn bearer was Mr. Green’s grandson Herbert Knapp.
Wesley E. Green, of Mattison Road in North Bennington, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington.
Arrangements were under the care of Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home, 213 West Main St., Bennington.

Dear Helen,Anne & Nancy, I was so shocked to hear about Wes. I so wanted to see him before we left for Florida and just didn't find the time. My loss. Wes was someone special, I could go to Wes with a problem and he would always have the solution. All the help and advice he gave when building my house, my first deer camp experience, learning to fish the Shatsbury Hollow brook. All these and a great many more memories I will cherish in Wes's memory. My best to you all.
