Stephen Rougeau Obituary

Stephen A. Rougeau

1954-2014 Stephen A. Rougeau 59 of 64 Carter Rd. Becket, Mass., died suddenly on Sunday March 2, 2014 at Berkshire Medical Center. He was born in North Adams, on June 30, 1954 a son of the late William and Viola (St. Pierre) Rougeau. He graduated from Mt. Greylock Regional High School with the class of 1972. He was employed as an licensed plumber in the engineering department at Berkshire Medical Center. Stephen was a devoted and dedicated father. He was a former communicant of St. Raphael's Church in Williamstown and enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. Stephen was a fan of the Boston Red Sox, Celtics and the Dallas Cowboys and loved to travel especially to Jamaica. He was an avid golfer. Survivors include one daughter Brittany Rougeau and her partner Marc Surowice of Rhode Island, One son Ethan Rougeau and his partner Kim Lavigne of Pittsfield. Stephen also leaves his fiance Mary Ann Harding of Becket with whom he made his home and her family Timothy Harding of Becket, Drew Harding of Dalton, Daniel Harding of Pittsfield and Gerry Harding and his wife Alison of Pittsfield. Three sisters Linda Grove and her husband William of New Jersey, Jean Ziter and her husband Bruce of North Adams and Jennifer Roberts of Cheshire. Two brothers Gary Rougeau and his wife Ellen of Williamstown and Glenn Rougeau of North Adams. His godmother and aunt Helen Bourdon of North Adams, dear friends Huey and Georgia Rand of North Adams and his godchild Gabriella in Jamaica. FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30 A.M. at St's Patrick and Raphael Parish in Williamstown, MA. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. Calling Hours at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, WEST CHAPELs, 521 West Main St. North Adams,MA. are Wednesday from 4-7 P.M.
