John Staulcup Obituary

John Staulcup, 94, of Big Spring, passed away, Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Trinity Memorial Park with Dr. Randy Cotton and Dr. Ron Davis officiating.
John was born Oct. 8, 1927, in Sharon, TN to Emma Adams Staulcup and McGrady Lynn Staulcup. John married Jo Ann Huddleston on August 28, 1964. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was an entrepreneur and was a "Jack of all trades." He collected automobiles. He was known as "Lincoln John" by all his many friends. He was an accomplished pianist. He retired from the VA Medical Center. John was a veteran of the United States Army.
John is survived by his wife, Jo Ann, of Big Spring; his nieces and nephews: Gene and Luann Staulcup, Karl Staulcup (Darlene), Jimmy and Martha Staulcup, Rita and Tommy Vaughn, Don and Heidi Overton, Ruth Davidson Norris, Ellen and Dan Lark; Mary Jo and Allen Sullivan and Gail Hammett (Tony).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Lynn (Mac) and Emma; brothers: Frank Staulcup, Earl Staulcup, Aaron Staulcup and his sister, Alice Ruth Overton.
The family would like to thank Big Spring Skilled Care Center and Interim Hospice for the wonderful care they provided for John.
