Patricia Othell Childers

1943 - 2022

Patricia Othell Lindsey Childers stepped into Heaven January 20, 2022.
She was born January 21,1943 in Big Spring Texas where she grew up and graduated from Coahoma High School. She lived most of her life in Amarillo Texas where she raised her family.
She had a loving and giving heart that will be missed by everyone that knew her. Patricia loved being with her family more than anything. She loved cooking a big meal for friends and family and spoiling them with their favorite foods. She was always willing to do for others. Throughout her life she cared for the elderly, worked in retail and in food services for the Amarillo Independent School District.
She was preceded in death by her parents Johnny Lindsey and Velma Hudgins Lindsey and granddaughter Aspen Childers. Her brother Lloyd Lindsey passed away March 11,2022.
She is survived by her daughters Chris Childers of Amarillo Texas and Darla J Keller and husband Todd of Anderson Texas and her son Darrol G Childers II and his wife Mandy of Amarillo Texas. Her grandson and 6 granddaughters and 5 great grandchildren. Her brother Robert Lindsey and wife Jeanie of Big Spring Texas.
We will celebrate her life March 17, 2022 at 11am at Trinity Chapel 6900 US 87, Big Spring, Tx.
Family visitation will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 5:00-7:00pm at Myers and Smith Funeral Home in Big Spring, Texas.
