Larry Cowee Obituary

Larry Ray Cowee, 54, of Billings, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at his home, of a sudden heart attack.
Larry was born in Beach, N.D., on Sept. 26, 1951, to Mernie and Viola Cowee. He grew up and attended school in Wibaux. Larry was employed in the oil fields at a young age and enjoyed this work for many years until an injury displaced him from this type of employment. He met Patsy in 1976 and wed in 1979. The couple spent a few years in Wibaux before moving their family to California, where they worked in property management for some years and then to their present residence in Billings in 1988.
Larry enjoyed camping, fishing, family poker parties, and spending time with his family and friends. His passion was the flea market and seeking out treasures. He shared a deep interest in this hobby with his dear friend Jacque Moore.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy; sons, Tyrell Cowee and Dan Fasthorse; stepdaughter, Marvel Brey; and daughter, Danielle Zavala; granddaughter, Chazlynn; grandson, Donovan; several other grandchildren; twin brother, Gary (Carla) Cowee; brother, Don Cowee (Kristi); sisters, Betty Stevens, Clara Unruh (Lanny), Linda Dschaak; sister-in-law, Betty Beeler; aunt, Shirley Schell; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws; and countless friends, including his friend Mike Paul.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brother Robert Beeler; stepson Charley Brey; and his uncle, Elmer Beeler.
Larry will be deeply missed by family and friends. "Larry, we will love you forever."
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 10, at Cremation or Funeral Gallery.
