Rachele Waters-VanderLinden Obituary
Rachele was born on Feb. 22, 1980, to Ronald and Debra (Feisthamel) Waters in Glendive, Mont. She was raised on a farm north of Richey, Mont. Rachele attended Richey Elementary School and high schools in Bozeman, Richey and Belgrade, Mont., graduating in 2000. She attended Dawson Community College, University of Wyoming and Colorado Mountain College. Rachele earned her Emergency Medical Technician in May 2004, receiving her State EMT license. Rachele enjoyed living and working on the farm. She had a soft heart for animals, raising many cats, dogs, chickens and bum lambs. She had a gregarious, energetic personality and loved life with a passion. She loved to golf, camp in the mountains, garden, work on her computer and play with her dog Dutch. Rachele loved to bake, bringing many goodies to the firehouse for the fireman at Avon, Colo.
Rachele leaves behind her husband, Ryan VanderLinden of Eagle, Colo.; parents, Ronald and Debra Waters of Sidney, Mont., Ken VanderLinden of St. Anthony, Idaho, Debrah (Stewart Armstrong) Anderson of Lewistown, Mont.; brothers, Tim Feisthamel of Kalispell, Mont., and Chris Waters of Denver, Don VanderLinden of Colorado Springs, Cordell VanderLinden of St, Anthony; sisters, Shandra and Cecelia Anderson of Lewistown, Mont.; grandparents, Stanley and Erda Waters of Richey, Pete and Stella Bakken of Glendive, Mont., Ruth VanderLinden and Harold and Evelyn Wilcox of St. Anthony; nephew, Braden Feisthamel of Kalispell, Mont., and her "baby" Dutch. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Robert Feisthamel, Donald F. VanderLinden, Cecelia Wilcox and uncle, Brian Feisthamel.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Locks of Love at locksoflove.org or Shaw Cancer Center, PO Box 1529, Vail, CO 81658. Arrangements are being provided by Everett Family Funeral Home in Gypsum, Colo.
There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Thursday at Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Richey, Mont.
