Angeline Deisz
Angeline Alice Deisz died March 22, 2006, at St. Alexius Medical Center with her husband and all of her children at her side. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 25, at Church of St. Anne, Bismarck, with the Rev. Ed Wehner officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck. At 6:30 p.m. Friday, a vigil will be held followed by a rosary. Visitation will continue Saturday at St. Anne's beginning one hour prior to the church service.
Angeline was born Nov. 27, 1936, the daughter of Peter and Rosalie (Baumgartner) Bickler. She grew up in Strasburg and graduated from Strasburg High School in 1955. Following graduation, she moved to Minneapolis and worked for Employers' Mutual Insurance as a policy typist. On Sept. 2, 1958, she married Mike Deisz in Strasburg. They made their home in Minneapolis until 1961, when they moved to Bismarck.
Angie was devoted to her faith, her husband, and her seven children and their families and was a dedicated homemaker. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. In recent years, she enjoyed traveling with her husband and visiting with family and friends. She continues to be an example of faith and generosity for those who know and love her.
Angeline is survived by her husband, Mike, Bismarck; her children and their spouses, Michael and Shawn, Bismarck, Pat and Holly, Eagan, Minn., John and his fiancee, Laura Sether, Cedar Falls, Iowa, Mary Beth and Chris Hueste, College Station, Texas, Stacy and Tom Lawrence, Plano, Texas, Melissa and Jaime Grunlan, College Station, and Rob and Megan, Wauwatosa, Wis.; eight grandchildren, Steven and Katie Deisz, Bismarck, Sam and Mac Deisz, Eagan, Alexandra, Michael and Anastasia Hueste, College Station, and Landon Lawrence, Plano; and four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Estella and Ted Wolf and Gladys and Dick Tesmer, all of Greendale, Wis., Florence Glass, Milwaukee, Wis., and Luella Richter, Linton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother-in-law, Leo Richter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Anne's School, 1315 N. 13th St., Bismarck, N.D. 58501.
