Dale Fitterer
FARGO - Dale Fitterer, 67, of Fargo, ND, died Friday, March 31, 2023, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.
Dale was born on February 27, 1956, to Ralph and Margaret (Schaff) Fitterer. He grew up on a farm south of Glen Ullin, ND, and graduated from Glen Ullin High School. He then attended NDSU and graduated with a degree in agriculture and animal science. He began his work at Red River Commodities in 1984, retiring about two years ago.
Dale married Camille Kulsrud in 1993 in Fargo, ND. They made their home together in Fargo until Camille's death in 1997.
Dale was good at drawing, and he loved sports, especially watching the NDSU Bison. Seinfeld was a favorite tv program as well as watching game shows and old Westerns. He was good in history and was skilled at remembering facts. He showed great interest in activities involving his nieces, nephews, and their children. Dale had a great circle of friends and coworkers. He also enjoyed the Kulsrud's deer hunting camp and pheasant hunts on the farm. He will be greatly missed.
Dale is survived by his siblings: Marilynn Tong, Deb (Mark) Gietzen, and Sid (Michelle) Fitterer, all of Bismarck, ND; mother and father-in-law, Myron and Leona Kulsrud, Grace City, ND; brother-in-law, Jay (Laura) Kulsrud, McHenry, ND; sister-in-law, Shelley Kulsrud, Glenfield, ND; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Camille; parents, Ralph and Margaret; sister, Kathy Kennedy; and brother, Leslie Fitterer.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND, with a visitation one hour prior. The service will be livestreamed on the funeral home website.
Burial: Riverside Cemetery - Fargo, ND

The GUHS Class of 1974 wishes to extend their condolences to Dale's family. Dale was kind, and had a keen wit and a sense of humor that he often shared with us through his cartoon drawings. We are saddened by this loss, and wish him and you all peace.

I´m so sorry to hear of Dale´s passing. He was such a sweet kid. I met Camille shortly after their marriage. What a beautiful couple, it was great to see them so happy.
