Leonard Voegele
BISMARCK - Leonard Voegele, age 91, passed peacefully on August 18, 2022. Born to Emiliea (nee Welk) and Jacob Voegele on June 20, 1931, in Beulah, ND; raised on their family farm just south. Leonard married Ernestine Sologuk in Wilton, ND, on February 21, 1957. Together they share two children, Marc and Marilyn. Leonard was a licensed pilot, loved to hunt and fish, farmed flax for many years in the Wilton area and co-owned Welk-Voegele Construction of Bismarck, where he built and repaired water tanks countrywide. He later established Voegele Crane Service. Leonard was preceded in death by parents Jacob and Emiliea Voegele, and survived by wife Ernestine, son Marc Voegele, daughter Marilyn Voegele, brother Larry Voegele (wife Ina), sister Lugale Shirber and other loving relatives.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 1919 N. 2nd St., Bismarck. A live stream of Leonard's service will be available at https://www.facebook.com/CorpusBismarck/ Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, August 22, 2022 with a vigil service starting at 7:00 PM at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Ave, Bismarck.
Burial will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, Bismarck, ND
