John Holland Obituary

John F. Holland, 90, died December 15, 2022 in Borger. A Celebration of his Life will be Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Minton Memorial Chapel. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home.

John was born November 1, 1932 in Erick Oklahoma to John S. Holland and Jessie Roberts Holland. He served in the Army during the Korean War, mostly in Alaska. John married Karen September 20, 1990. His hobby was working, he had a refrigeration business for twenty years and then became an oilman with several wells to take care of. He always kept busy fixing something or working on his wells.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Sondra Lancia, his two brothers Roy and James and one infant sister Maxine.

John is survived by his wife Karen, his son Randy Holland and his wife Becky of Fritch. his daughter Mary Jane Holland of Borger, his brother Kenneth Holland of Almagordo, NM, his five grandchildren John W. Holland, Justin Holland, Marcus Lewis, Jessica Nordstrom and Anthony Lancia and several great-gramdchildren.
