"Life"
My dear best friend, I hope you know
You make me laugh while here below.
Your sense of humor still lives on
although your body may be gone.
The other night you won at "Life"
we laughed, your daughter and your wife
and while we played "Life" you were there:
the three of us, some moments shared.
We miss your laugh and goofy grin
and we're both happy for your win.
We hope that you were laughing too
and though, for, it is is "adieu"
I'll say instead, friend, "au revoir"
so keep on laughing from the stars.

I didn't get to meet Brian but my heart goes out to Annika, Freja, Rachel
and his parents and grandmother, family. God's blessings on each one grieving.
