Of Malden, Nov. 19, Catherine M. (Sullivan). Wife of the late Joseph L. Howard. Beloved mother of Maureen Killion and her late husband Arthur of Malden, David L. Howard and his wife Joanne of North Andover, John J. Howard and his wife Nancy of Everett and Mayor Richard C. Howard and his wife Lisa of Malden. Grandmother of Kevin, Brian Killion and Karen Bushee; Jennifer, Gregory and Timothy Howard; Judith McGonagle and Joseph Howard; Brendan, Kyle and Andrew Howard. Survived also by 10 great-grandchildren. Sister of Theresa Sullivan and Rose L. Gordon both of Malden, and the late James L., Joseph M., John J. Sullivan, Josephine Clark and Helen R. McCoy. Funeral from the E. E. Burns & Son Funeral Home, 204 Main St., MALDEN, Saturday at 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass in the Church of the Sacred Hearts at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-8. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Linden Unit, c/o Maureen Faretra, Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center, Hospital Rd., Malden, MA 02148.
