Hi Mrs Howard, I am a little behind schedule here, but it´s never too late to share how much I loved you and Mr. Howard I enjoyed hanging out with you at you home on Kane Avenue-you two were family. I was honored to have "Skip" as my advisor, hockey coach and tennis coach. He was KEY to my growth and enjoyment at SG. Warmest regards, Jeffrey Smith (1982)

Dear Dolly,
My thoughts are with you and your family during this especially difficult time. As my advisor, coach, and friend, Skip had a profound impact on me during my formative years at St. George's, inspiring me to pursue a career in education. He influenced me in ways I did not fully understand at the time and shaped me into the educator I am today--one who believes that students will rise to the level of expectations set for them. I will never forget some of his Skipisms: "You look good, you play good!" "You look sharp, you play sharp!" His life was such a gift.

What a wonderful coach, mentor and friend. I think I learned more from Skip off the court than I did on. He was a true role model and inspiration for us all. Sending my best to you Dolly and family. xo
