Ms. Gallagher was a wonderful and compassionate mentor who inspired generations of students with her youthful attitude and charismatic charm. While I only had her for one year, I often reflect fondly on the memories I have of her class. Ms. Gallagher's passing Is truly a loss to the Lexington community and all who have had the pleasure of knowing her. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences go out to her family.

I had Mrs. Gallagher in 6th grade circa 1992 after her first child. I have fond memories. Very sad to hear of this news. Rip.

Words cannot say enough about the wonderful Diane. Nothing seemed to ruffle her as she was always so cool, calm and collected. I had the opportunity to work on Diane's Team at Diamond for several years and enjoyed her easy going style and wit. She was a master English teacher and treated each child with dignity and respect. She made it clear that the important things in her life were her family, her dogs, friends, shopping and making people happy. She will be dearly missed.

Diane and I worked together. She was the type of teacher who inspired us to always love our students, to speak kind words, and of course laugh. Diamond and her English colleagues will miss her terribly. Sending thoughts and prayers.

All three of my children had Ms. Gallagher at Diamond. How lucky they are. Ms. Gallagher is a kind, caring and gentle lady. In the conferences, she always speaks high of my children, while gently informing me the areas they should improve.
We also ran into her, her son and her son's Asian-American friend one time on the subway back from Red Sox world champion celebration. She is such a sweet lady. I can never forget her beautiful smile.

Diane tutored our twin girls their 7th grade year at Diamond. Almost every Saturday, she would meet them at Cary Library, and she was always able to combine memorable learning with fun. She was a tremendous positive influence on our girls in many ways, and will be greatly missed. Our sympathies and prayers to your family.
