I met Ed in 1984 at an MIT function. He became a good friend and helped me with the startup financing of a cable television company. He was always optimistic about my success and his faith and optimism kept me going on a number of occassions when I might otherwise have quit. I only learned of his untimely death when seeking his telephone number on the internet so that I could call him and thank him for his help and friendship. It is very sad that I am too late.

It seems just yesterday Ed and I were part of the graduating class of Hall High in 1959. He became an even more special individual who gave so much to his family, his associates, his country and his community. I am sorry for your loss when Ed was still so young and had so much to give. Sincerely, Carol R. Adler
