Ed, I'm so sorry to have not found all these years since we worked together @Friday's in Dallas. I am embarrassed to only learned of your passing today but thought the very least I could do was to tell the world what a wonderful person you were. You were always patient while the group of us were learning new store systems @ work, and were full of humor and thoughtfulness. I was duly impressed with your amazing knowledge of music & film, and you were kind to recommend / review movies. I gained some confidence in remodeling / refurbishing homes after seeing the work you did in improving your home near Dallas, it was very tasteful & fine work. Most of all, when I had moved into the deployment team, you were a ready resource of things old and new when we struggled with a tight deadline or a hardware issue. It was a great relief to talk through a problem with you, your sense of humor set people at ease and made the work much easier. We spent 5 years together at TGIFriday's and I learned so much from you that I was able to use as tools during the remainder of my career in technology. Thank you so much for being such a kind man with so many talents. Despite my lateness, you are not forgotten!

I wish to give my heartfelt sympathy 2 to its family Kama especially his sister Martha. Martha Ed and I we're all fairly close in age and is second cousins, we were pretty close growing up. I have great memories of visits and sleepovers at their house on the westside of Detroit. Also their visits to Alpena we're always fun. Back when we were little Ed seemed so much older and his understanding in Independence taking care of his diabetes with always fascinating to me. I also remember and appreciate his love of music coming from a house where Opera was always there, is diverse love of rock and roll and it's trivia are always something I remember. Keeping up the last few years has been a little harder but Facebook and Martha have been a great bridge. I hope you find peace and happiness in heaven with all those over great artists and musicians who hang out there.

Ed was a beautiful man, a sweet soul a gentle smile, big dimples, piercing eyes that listened to you intently and would chuckle with accepting laughter. I so enjoyed his passion for things that were important to him and fully expressed. Ed loved his family and admired his sister Martha, was proud of her talents and shared in her passion for music and all her successes. He cared greatly for his nephews by how he shared stories of them, and no doubt loved and shared mutual respect for his brother in law Peter. I had the privilege of calling him friend, brother of my dear friend, neighbor, and my "young " crush as a growing adolescent ...Seeing him again after a lapse in time, only made me appreciate all of these things I knew about him evermore! RIP sweet Ed... wish we had even more time to share....
